A journey in Germany
Why not actually name Germany "the Germanies"? Each state or "Land" holds its singular culture and geography. This diversity becomes even more obvious when it comes to German cities, which I felt dedicated to one main activity. The organization and consequently architecture serves this aim. Just look at Berlin with political glasses or at Dresden for culture, Hamburg for trade and logistics, Frankfurt for finance or also Stuttgart with its automotive industry. Now further looking at the Baden-Württemberg region, you will discover several vineyards, many of them are shaping the hills surrounding Stuttgart, and pretty hard to grow due to their steep slope. Cities like Esslingen or Uhlbach are largely influenced from this activity. Heading south-west from Stuttgart you will discover the Black Forest, that offers not only hiking but also small skiing resorts. Now take a look at Bavaria and in particular the landscape around Füssen and the Neuschwanstein castle or Berchtesgaden and the second highest summit Germany, the Watzmann. Enjoy the peacefulness of these places and forget the excitement of German major cities.
